Grid Lace Stitch: 1-Row Repeat Easy Knitting Pattern + Video

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to knit the Grid lace stitch; a one-row repeat pattern, reversible (identical on both sides), moreover, it doesn’t curl. What more could we ask?

This stitch is part of the Easy Lace Knitting Patterns collection, where you’ll find more one-row, two-row, and 4-row repeat designs.

Furthermore, the Grid lace stitch isn’t complicated at all: Only 3 simple steps to memorize, and all rows are the same! So, it’s a nice option if you are a beginner and aren’t yet too comfortable when it comes to knitting lace 😉

It shares the same DNA of the “Lace stitch in two easy steps”, also ideal for knitting Summer scarves, shawls, and wraps.

Ok, grab your needles, and let’s get started!

Abbreviations

K: Knit

If you’ve been following me for some time, you probably have noticed that I always recommend to use sharp tip knitting needles.

Why? Because they will make your work much easier!

And my second suggestion, when knitting lace, is to block your work once it’s finished.

Blocking your knitting will make it look professional; the pattern will appear crisper and neater, ultimately, the stitches will get a better definition!
