How to knit a Unisex Cowl for beginners

Materials
100 gr of wool yarn (Number 6 or Super Bulky) #ad
2 x 10 mm knitting needles / US 15 #ad
Scissors, darning needle, measuring tape or ruler:
Measurement of the finished Cowl
7.9 in / 20 cm height
24 in / 60 cm circumference (12 in / 30 cm width after sewing)
Gauge
9 stitches y 12 rows in Stockinette stitch = 10 cm / 4 in.

CO: Cast on
st: Stitch
k: Knit
p: Purl
yo: Yarn over
BO: Bind off
Unisex Cowl knitting pattern for beginners
Note: The odd rows form the right side of the work
CO 60 st
2 x 2 Ribbing section:
1º, 2º, 3º and 4º rows: *K2, P2*. Repeat from * to *, to the end.
Knit the next 14 rows in Bamboo stitch:
1º and every odd row: *yo, k2, pass the yo over the last st*. Repeat from * to * to the end.
2º and every even row: Purl across.
Repeat these last two rows 6 times more.
2 x 2 Ribbing section:
1º, 2º, 3º and 4º rows: *K2, P2*. Repeat from * to *, to the end.
BO in pattern: *BO 2 st knitwise, BO 2 st purlwise*. Repeat from * to *, to the end.
Sew on both sides of the rectangle, and you’re done!
