Baby booties knitting pattern for absolute beginners

This is the easiest pattern you will ever find that shows you how anyone can knit baby booties!

To make these booties, you only need to know how to cast on as well as the knit stitch (garter stitch)…no need to even know how to bind off,  cross my heart!

 

Materials

Less than 20 grams of worsted weight wool (for US 8 knitting needles or 4,5 – 5 mm)   #ad

2 x 5 mm / US 8 knitting needles (I have this set and I love it!) #ad

1 x Tapestry needle #ad

1 x Scissors #ad

1 x Measuring Tape #ad

 

 

Size

0-3 months: 3.2 in long x 3.3 in wide (8 cm long x 8.5 cm wide)

1 year:  4 in long x 4.12 in wide (10 cm long x 10.3 cm wide)

 

Baby Booties knitting pattern for absolute beginners

Cast on 14 stitches (17 stitches, for the 1 year size)

Knit 24 rows in garter stitch (30 rows, for the 1 year size)

Next 2 rows: *knit 1, knit 2 together*. Repeat from * to * until the end of the row

Break the yarn and pass the tapestry needle through every stitch to close the work, and pull.
