How to Knit the ZigZag Seed Stitch + Video (cute!)

Today, youโ€™ll learn how to knit the ZigZag Seed Stitch, a super cute knit and purl stitch, great for beginners ๐Ÿ™‚

In fact, it reminds me of the Waved Welt Stitch, which we practiced sometime ago…

Or another lovely pattern made out of “seeds”, special for baby stuff, the infamous Chevron Seed Stitch.

But the difference is that theyโ€™re horizontal designs.

On the contrary, the ZigZag Seed Stitch is a vertical pattern, ideal for large garments, such as blankets, scarves, sweaters, or cardigans.

It has a lovely texture to it, and to see it properly, itโ€™s necessary to work at least 2-3 repeats.

However, it tends to bend, so donโ€™t forget to add a nice edge on each side, preferably in the Seed stitch.

Without further ado, grab your needles and your favorite yarn, and letโ€™s knit a swatch together!
