One-Row Knitting Stitch Pattern: Easy, Reversible & Doesn’t Curl! + Video

This one-row repeat knitting pattern is famous across the world, for several reasons:

  • It’s identical on both sides, great for knitting scarves and blankies
  • It has a rich texture to it and doesn’t curl
  • And it’s easy to knit (just 4 steps to memorize and 1 row).

If you are thinking of knitting a scarf, blanket, throw or any other rectangular or square project, and don’t know how many stitches to cast on, the measurements, or how much yarn you’ll need, click here and take a look at my step-by-step process.
