How to knit Lace Squares, step by step
CO multiples of 20 + 10 stitches; i.e.: 20 * 2 = 40 + 10 = 50 stitches.
1Âș, 5Âș and 9Âș rows (RS): *K1, [k2tog, yo] 4 times, K1, P10*. Repeat from * to last 10 st, K1, [k2tog, yo] 4 times, K1.
2Âș and every even row (WS): Work each st as it presents; knit the knits, purl the purls and the yo.
3Âș and 7Âș rows: *K1, [yo, k2tog] 4 times, K11*. Repeat from * to last 10 st, K1, [yo, k2tog] 4 times, K1.
11Âș, 15Âș and 19Âș rows: *P10, K1, [k2tog, yo] 4 times, K1*. Repeat from * to last 10 st, P 10.
13Âș and 17Âș rows: *K11, [yo, k2tog] 4 times, K1*. Repeat from * to last 10 st, K10.
20Âș row: as 2Âș row.
Repeat these 20 rows until you reach the desired length. Bind off knitwise after a 20st row.
