A Great Substitute for the Classic Ribbing: Lace Rib Stitch + Video

In today’s tutorial, you’ll learn how to knit a great substitute for the classic 2×2 ribbing: The Lace Rib stitch.

This stitch is part of the Easy Lace Knitting Patterns collection, where you’ll find more one-row, two-row, and 4-row repeat designs.

Easy to knit, reversible, pretty stretchy, it doesn’t curl and it’s a two-row repeat pattern!

The Lace Rib stitch has a great texture to it, perfect for knitting the hems and cuffs of a stylish jumper or cardigan, or for knitting a romantic scarf or rectangular shawl.

It features embossed columns, that give it an elegant vertical look (similar to the Feather Rib stitch).

This swatch (and the swatch on the video) were knitted using a beautiful set of bamboo needles #ad
