Easy Unisex Hat knitting pattern: Reversible and seamless
Saint Valentine’s Day is just around the corner… what a perfect opportunity to make a gift ;D! In this tutorial, you’ll learn to knit an easy hat for the whole family (for women, men, and children).
It’s a reversible hat, knitted in a gorgeous stitch: The last version of the Broken Rib we practiced some weeks ago.
The hat is knitted in the round (this is why there are no side seams), and you can make it to your own taste: shorter or longer, depending on the size, with or without a brim.
This version of the Broken Rib stitch is pretty stretchy. It can stretch out up to 30% of its width, so with the same amount of stitches, we can cover many sizes.
If you have never knitted in the round before, I would like you to be encouraged, and don’t be afraid, because it’s so simple!
But if knitting in the round isn’t your thing at all, this hat pattern is so easy, that you can also knit it back and forth (flat). Just take into account that the Broken Rib stitch knitted flat is made in one row, not two. The decrease rows will be the same.
