How to Knit Super Easy Christmas Mini Sweatersย + Video

Today, youโ€™ll learn how to knit cute and easy Christmas Mini Sweaters, using straight needles.

The truth is that Christmas is around the corner, and I love to knit decorations for my little tree.

Besides, they are pretty easy and quick to make, so, no matter if youโ€™re a beginner.

If you can knit and purl, you can knit many them ๐Ÿ™‚

Just use anything you have on hand; be creative, and enjoy!

Last, but not least, I’ll show you how to decorate them using the duplicate stitch.

Materials

The intention is for us to use our stash, so thereโ€™s no need to buy anything specific.

However, for some of them, I used worsted weight yarn (number 4, medium) and US 8 (5 mm) knitting needles.

For others, I used DK yarn (number 3, light), and US 7 (4.5 mm) needles.

And youโ€™ll need a tapestry/darning needle #ad

First, using the mattress stitch, join one side of the back and the front (from the hem up to the armhole).

Second, join one side of the sleeve to the back (from the armhole up to the neckline).

Third, join the other side of the same sleeve to the front.

Finally, join the sleeve (from the cuff to the armhole).

Now you can embroider the front, using the duplicate stitch, (as shown in the video).

Repeat the process for the other side of the Christmas Mini Sweater.
