How to Knit the Half Heart Stitch Pattern + Video

In todayโ€™s tutorial, Iโ€™m sharing how to knit the Half Heart Stitch; itโ€™s also known as the Reverse Stag Horn Stitch.

Why?

Well, we practiced the Stag Horn Knit Stitch a while ago, and I think this one can be a good complement.

Itโ€™s a six-row repeat pattern, perfect for blankets, sweaters, hats, scarves, cowlsโ€ฆyou name it!

However, if you donโ€™t want to make the whole sweater in this pattern, you can use it for a central panel on the sleeves, or the front only.

Although you may think itโ€™s complicated, the Half Heart Stitch is easy to make.

Donโ€™t worry! You shouldnโ€™t be scared of cable knitting, especially those that I share with you ๐Ÿ˜‰

Please take into account that weโ€™ll use a third needle of the same size, a cable needle, a stitch holder, or even a Bobby Pin (a hairpin) #ad

Itโ€™s up to you (the hairpin works better for me, or a short stitch holder).

Last but not least, before starting your swatch, take a look at my favorite tips when knitting cables.

Ok, itโ€™s knitting time!

Grab your needles and some yarn, and letโ€™s get started ๐Ÿ™‚
