How to knit the Crocodile stitch

This is one of those special knitting patterns, a stitch you don’t see every day, that will you fall in love at first sight! It’s easy to knit (much easier than it looks), perfect for knitting a unique cardigan or a sweater with an elegant touch. I believe it may be from the same family as the Seagull stitch: refined and textured, great for knitting a big piece! This swatch is made of mercerized cotton, (this set has bright and lively colors…) using sharp tip knitting needles (4 mm / US 6)… my favorites! These will save you time and effort Abbreviations CO: Cast on st: Stitch RS: Right side of the work K: Knit P: Purl yo: Yarn over passyo: Pass the yarn over the last two stitches BO: Bind off How to knit the Crocodile stitch CO multiples of 4 + 1, i.e.: 4 * 3 = 12 + 1 = 13 stitches 1º and 3º rows (RS): K across 2º row: P1, *yo, P2, passyo, P2*. Repeat from * to *, to end. 4º row: P1, *P2, yo, P2, passyo*. Repeat from * to *, to end. These four rows create the pattern and will be repeated until the desire length is reached.
